About this event
In its 200th anniversary year the Riga Latvian Society honours Juris Neikens — teacher, writer, pastor and the man who started the Latvian Song Festival tradition. Actress Anita Grūbe and composer-pianist Māris Lasmanis thread his poetry, prose and diaries through original songs and folk settings, sung by three choirs and baritone Imants Erdmans.
