About this event
Marking what would have been Václav Havel's ninetieth birthday, Prague 2 hangs photographs by Karel Cudlín alongside pictures contributed by neighbours who have their own memories of the first post-revolutionary president. The little-seen frames — Havel visiting schools, reopening the restored Gröbe villa — are the point. The vernissage is on 7 October at 16:30; the show runs to 30 October.
Why we picked it
Rarely-seen Karel Cudlín photographs of Havel, opened with a public vernissage and free throughout.
