About this event
At five in the morning, xeremiers and a marching band wake Pollença by walking the whole town playing the alborada, with residents spilling out of doorways and following along. It is the oldest and strangest ritual of the Patrona festival, and it happens whether or not anyone has slept. Nothing to pay; simply be on the street.
