One of the darker, higher parks in north-east Paris, which makes it a better bet than most for actually seeing something. Association Française d'Astronomie guides run telescopes across the sloping lawns, pointing out constellations and deep-sky targets and answering questions from complete beginners. Bring a jacket and, if you have them, binoculars.
