Ak Dan Gwang Chil, the Seoul group that rebuilds the shamanic music of Hwanghae province as loud, brass-edged contemporary folk, play the Korean Cultural Centre as part of the 140th anniversary of Korean-French diplomatic relations. A band that has carried this repertoire through European festival stages, here in a small embassy-run hall off the Champs-Elysees.
