About this event
The Miró foundation hands out its Pilar Juncosa prizes and grants for 2026 — 44,000 euros split between young Mallorcan and international artists — in an open evening ceremony at its Moneo-designed building above Cala Major. The award night doubles as a look at who the island's art establishment is backing next, and the galleries stay open around it. Free, but the room is capped.
Why we picked it
The one free, dated evening in the Miró foundation's October calendar, and a genuine look at the island's contemporary art scene rather than just its Miró holdings.
