About this event
Mallorca's coastal watchtowers were built to see each other: light a fire on one and the warning crossed the island. This free lecture at Can Balaguer works through how that visual network actually functioned between the castles and the talaies, in Catalan. Limited capacity, central venue, and it will change how you read the coastline.
Why we picked it
The island's watchtower warning network explained on its own terms — free, in Catalan, in a historic house.
