Palma's municipal wind band plays the courtyard of La Misericòrdia, a stone-arcaded cloister that is one of the city's best free concert rooms. The programme, "Un ejército para una nueva época", draws on the band's military-ensemble roots. Entry is free until the courtyard fills, which it does: turn up well before seven if you want to sit.
