Every Wednesday an art-deco bar in the middle of Karl Johan fills up with hot jazz from 1921 to 1949 - Simple Jonny's Easy Jazz Band, a fixture of the Oslo scene, plus three of his best players. Feelgood repertoire played properly, three hours of it, and the venue is blunt about the price: completely free.
