Butoh artist Vangeline performs Naiad Metal outdoors on Hearst Plaza across four consecutive evenings, starting at 6:00pm on the Wednesday and Thursday and an hour earlier on the Friday and Saturday. Free, open-air and unticketed, beside the reflecting pool - the sort of slow, strange, quietly gripping work that rewards stopping rather than passing through.
