About this event
Harlem's Studio Museum gives away its Sundays. Admission is free and the day is programmed rather than empty: talks, gallery tours, art-making workshops and a Storytime session at 11.30am reading children's books by Black authors. It suits a solo gallery wander as easily as a family morning, and the museum's newly rebuilt home on 125th Street is worth the trip alone.
Why we picked it
A flagship Black art institution with free admission and a full programme on a specific dated page, not just a standing policy.
Free entry
'Though admission is free, tickets are required.' Advance ticket reservations are recommended.
Registration
Registration needed
