About this event
Van Cortlandt Park Alliance's Four-Legged Friends season of open-air cinema reaches Paddington 2 on the Parade Ground. Music starts around half past five and the film rolls once the light goes, so bring a blanket and a jumper — the Bronx turns cold the moment the sun drops. Less a cinema than a neighbourhood picnic that happens to have a screen at one end.
Why we picked it
A genuinely free outdoor film night on the first Friday of the window, and a rare autumn survivor of a format that usually shuts down in September.
