About this event
Randall's Island Park Alliance closes out the growing season with an afternoon built for families: a pumpkin patch, harvest crafts, games and seasonal treats spread across the island's lawns with the East River on three sides. A free Bike Valet from Transportation Alternatives means you can ride in. Crisp air, open space and almost no crowds compared with Manhattan's park festivals.
Why we picked it
The single strongest free family event in the priority week — a full autumn festival with a pumpkin patch, on an island park most visitors never think to cross to.
Free entry
Organiser's own page states "Step into autumn at the free Randall's Island Harvest Festival!" — free to attend, drop-in.
