About this event
Bryant Park's 17,000 sq ft rink opens at noon on 28 October for its 2026–27 season, and admission to skate is free — the only charge is skate rental, which you avoid entirely by bringing your own. The park also programmes free skating shows and events on the ice through the season. Helmet rental is free; weather permitting, daily from opening.
Why we picked it
A free-admission ice rink in midtown is a rare thing, and opening day lands inside the window with the whole season ahead of it.

Admission: Free (skate rental $18.72–$64.48 if you do not bring your own; helmet rental free)
