About this event
Violinist Edson Scheid continues his traverse of Bach's solo sonatas and partitas — the summit of the unaccompanied violin repertoire — in a church acoustic that gives a single instrument room to ring. Part three of a multi-concert project, and you can drop into it cold without having heard the first two.
Why we picked it
Solo Bach, free, in a resonant Midtown church — the most concentrated hour of music on this list.
