About this event
Baroque violinist Edson Scheid continues his traverse of Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for unaccompanied violin, reaching the third instalment. One player, one violin, forty-five minutes of the hardest and most beautiful writing in the repertoire, in a church just off Times Square, and it costs nothing to walk in.
Why we picked it
Solo Bach from a specialist period violinist, free and unticketed, is about as good as a lunch hour gets.
