The first instalment of Manhattan School of Music's Classical Meets Jazz strand, in which pianists from both sides of the school's classical and Jazz Arts divisions take standard repertoire apart and rebuild it. MSM is one of the few conservatories strong enough in both idioms for this to be more than a novelty. Free, in Greenfield Hall, with no ticket required.
