About this event
Sunday afternoons at Pier 2 are handed over to families. Children aged seven and up can take a single kayak out themselves while a guardian stays on the dock, which for a lot of kids is the first time they have steered anything. Vests, boats and instruction are supplied by the volunteer boathouse crew, and the water is a calm, enclosed embayment.
