About this event
Turn up at the Dredgers' boathouse on 2nd Street, get into a canoe and paddle the protected Gowanus Canal at your own pace. No experience needed: club volunteers launch you from the dock and talk you through the route past bulkheads, wildlife and the industrial backs of Brooklyn. One of the very few free ways on the water in the city, and among the last dates of the season.
