About this event
Lulada Club are an all-women salsa orchestra led by vocalist and director Andrea Chavarro, drawing on her roots in Cali, Colombia. They take over Olly Olly Market in Chelsea once a month for three hours of live salsa, bolero and cha-cha-chá — a proper band, not a playlist, and a floor full of people using it.
Why we picked it
A live salsa orchestra with no cover charge is a rarity; this one plays monthly and is explicitly billed as free.
Free entry
Organiser's listing is titled "FREE Salsa Night in NYC!" and prices entry at $0.00 (isFree true, lowPrice 0.0). Food and drink from the market's vendors are paid separately.
