About this event
The autumn edition of Riverside Park's long-running Overlook series puts live music on a terrace above the river for ninety minutes on Sunday afternoons. This date brings A Jazz Ensemble from the Manhattan School of Music — traditional and contemporary jazz from conservatory students. Seating is limited and unreserved, the sound carries across the park, and heavy rain cancels the concert outright.
Why we picked it
Chamber-quality playing in the open air, free, and one of the few Manhattan park concert series still programming in October.
