Mozart's string quintets set against the quartets of Beethoven's Opus 18, the set in which the younger composer worked out what he had absorbed from Mozart and Haydn. Bargemusic pairs them deliberately so you can hear the inheritance at work. Free, on the water at Pier 5, and over in time for a walk along the promenade.
