About this event
The Birds, 1963, Tippi Hedren and a California town that stops making sense. Hitchcock's season at Espronceda lands its scariest film in Halloween week, free and with no explanation offered at the end, as intended. Hitchcock used no musical score at all, only electronically treated bird sound, which is a large part of why it still unsettles audiences sixty years on.
