About this event
Once a month the Royal Guard performs the full solemn changing of the guard in the courtyard of the Royal Palace: some four hundred people, a hundred horses and period uniforms from the reigns of Alfonso XII and Alfonso XIII. Arrive early and enter by the Puerta de Santiago; it fills.
