About this event
A guitar orchestra — teachers and advanced students together, directed by Jorge Aguilera — playing a programme in three parts. Popular classics take Bach's second orchestral suite, Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik and Boccherini; Around the World runs through a Scottish medley and Guastavino's fugue on Arroz con leche; Alla Española closes with Lecuona's Suite Andalucía and Moreno Torroba's Cuatro estampas. Sunday noon in La Latina.
