About this event
A chamber orchestra in a parish church on a Saturday night — the pairing that gives Madrid's free classical strand its best sound. Santa María la Antigua is out in the east of the city rather than the centre, so the audience tends to be neighbours, which makes for a warm room.
Why we picked it
A chamber orchestra in a church nave, free, on a Saturday evening.
