A quartet concert at Matadero, the converted slaughterhouse that is now Madrid's main contemporary arts site. Free, on a Friday night, in a complex worth arriving early to walk around before the music starts. Matadero's halls were slaughterhouse sheds until the city converted them, and the brick and iron give a quartet an unusually generous acoustic. Free, no booking needed.
