About this event
Guitarist Miguel Czachowski's long-running international project sets Andalusian flamenco against North Indian classical music, and does it without smoothing either tradition down. The quartet pairs Czachowski's guitar with Leo Vertunni on sitar, Manish Madankar on tabla and Isaac Pena Gonzalez on cajon, building the set around the two things the styles genuinely share: improvisation and rhythm. Recommended for ages 12 and up, in a municipal culture centre on Madrid's eastern edge.
