About this event
The middle festival of Madrid's August trilogy, and the one that belongs most to its neighbourhood. Lavapiés fills with music, food stalls and street culture around the small 17th-century church of San Lorenzo, with the traditional procession on 10 August and open-air concerts and DJ sets on Plaza de Arturo Barea. Less polished and less crowded than La Paloma, and all the better for it.
