About this event
Madrid's biggest and most traditional August fiesta opens with a free concert from folk-rock veterans Celtas Cortos in the Vistillas gardens, with sweeping views over the Almudena Cathedral and the Manzanares valley below. La Paloma runs through August 16 with floral offerings, orchestras in Plaza de la Paja and a costumed procession - all free to attend.
