About this event
For three days Ljubljana is, in the festival's own phrase, woven with lace. Bobbin lacemakers from across Slovenia and abroad gather to demonstrate, exhibit and teach, setting a craft with centuries of local history against contemporary work being made now. Slovenia takes its lace seriously, and Ljubljana's lacemakers have kept the city's own tradition alive.
