About this event
For six days in August, fifteen magicians from ten countries perform roughly 175 street shows across thirteen Lisbon squares and gardens. Directed by Luis de Matos, it is close-up work in the open air: no stage machinery, no curtain, the audience standing an arm's length from the trick. Turn a corner in the Chiado or the Estrela garden and you simply walk into one.
