About this event
Big Bang, the European festival of music and adventure for young audiences, takes over Belém for two days, and its forecourt strand costs nothing. Percussion collective WETUMTUM brings the roaming MUSKO parade with students of the Metropolitana school, and the Pauliteiros de Miranda stick-dancers from Miranda do Douro bring one of Portugal's oldest surviving folk traditions onto the square.
Why we picked it
A marquee international children's festival where the outdoor strand is explicitly free, right at the start of the priority week, with two genuinely distinctive acts.
Free entry
Entrada Livre (free entry) marked against both Praça CCB performances on CCB's own programme
Registration
