About this event
Carnide's patron-saint festival fills the old village streets on the northern edge of Lisbon with processions, marches, grilled sardines and neighbourhood bands. It is one of the traditional bairro festas that carry on well past the June popular saints, and remains a resolutely local affair rather than a tourist showcase.
