An afternoon lecture in the Helsinki adult education centre's series on women at the easel, this week on the avant-garde and the courage of the front line. Art historian Tuija Ekegren-Sippola traces how women artists from the late 1800s onwards fought for space to work actively in the art world. Lecture in Finnish.
