About this event
A ninety-minute local-history lecture by MA Matti Lipponen on the people and places around the Vartiokylanlahti bay across the centuries. Two medieval villages on its shores grew into the Puotila and Rastila manors, and a hill fort once guarded what was then a sea strait. The talk closes by looking ahead at how the area is set to change. In Finnish, at the adult education centre's Vuotalo programme.
