About this event
Espan lava's open-air stage turns over to Finnish and Nordic folk and world music for four days, headlined by accordionist Maria Kalaniemi and jouhikko player Pekko Kappi, with sets from Freeta, Ella Isotalo, Maija Pokela and more. Deckchairs, ice cream and the Esplanadi's linden trees make it one of Helsinki's most relaxed free-music traditions - arrive early for a spot on the lawn.
