About this event
Sointi Jazz Orchestra hosts an open big-band jam at Malmitalo. A house band plays a short set, then saxophonists, trumpeters, trombonists, rhythm players and singers are invited up. Drum kit, piano, bass and guitar amps, stands and charts are provided; bring your own horn and sticks. The repertoire is picked on the night to suit whoever turns up, so listeners are as welcome as players.
