About this event
The Aria Borealis singing competition fills the Music Centre for several days, and around the ticketed rounds sits a free fringe - pre-events and side events open to anyone who walks in. It is a chance to hear young opera voices at close range in a building that usually asks for a ticket, and to watch a competition take shape rather than just its final.
Why we picked it
Free fringe access to an international singing competition inside Helsinki's main concert hall.
Free entry
The City of Helsinki's event record marks this entry free (offers.is_free: true) and its own summary reads 'The pre-event and side events offer plenty of free activities.'
Registration
Registration needed
None stated for the free side programme. The competition rounds themselves are separately ticketed.
A third-party event from official public listings, checked by Glentio. Programmes can change. Confirm on the organiser's site.
