About this event
The Royal Dublin Society opens its library for a week-long exhibition and talk on Ireland's mineral collections and mining history, part of National Heritage Week's "Heritage at Risk" theme. The RDS Library is not normally on the visitor circuit, which is much of the appeal: 18th-century scientific collections in a working members' institution, explained by the people who look after them.
