About this event
The opening party for Alternative Pride, the grassroots, non-commercial counterpart to Copenhagen's main Pride week, running 8 to 14 August. Onkel Dannys Plads fills with performances, DJs and community stalls from early afternoon through to midnight. The tone is deliberately scrappier and more political than the corporate parade, and everything on the square is open to anyone who turns up.
