About this event
Trick-or-treating in the woods: a lap of the Main Loop at the Nature Center hunting hidden pumpkins, with candy stations along the way. Costumes on the trails, and if the weather turns the stations move inside the Nature Center building. Open to everyone, one hour on Halloween afternoon.
Why we picked it
Trick-or-treating on forest trails rather than pavements — and a wet-weather plan already in place.
Free entry
Chicago Park District event page states "Event Fee $0.00" and "This family friendly event is open to everyone"; Age Range "All Ages".
