About this event

Sones de México Ensemble's interactive family concert, built around a crawfish, a cowboy mouse and a hundred-year-old woman. It travels from the Huasteca and the tale of La Acamaya to a folk version of La Bamba from Veracruz, with the audience pulled into the music rather than sat quietly through it.

Why we picked it

One of Chicago's finest folk ensembles doing a show children can join, in a park on the South West Side.
