About this event
Twelve years in, Arts in the Dark treats Halloween as the artist's holiday and builds an evening parade out of it — spectacle puppets, floats and performances from major institutions, Chicago arts organisations, youth programmes and individual artists, watched by a crowd the organisers put at 100,000. The 2026 edition returns to its original Columbus Drive route.
