About this event
Hungary's national day closes with what is billed as Europe's largest fireworks display, fired along the Danube and combined with a light show and projections onto Parliament, Gellert Hill and the National Gallery. More than twenty sites across Budapest run free holiday programming through the day, from the morning flag-raising to an air parade over the river.
