Hungary's national holiday closes with fireworks along a 1.5km stretch of the Danube, joined by a 1,500-drone display tracing national motifs and light projections across the Parliament building. Embankments on both banks fill early. Buda's higher ground, including Gellért Hill, gives the wider view, while the Pest side puts you closer. Daytime programming runs across the city beforehand.
