About this event
The centrepiece of Hungary's national holiday: an evening show and fireworks over the Danube, watched from the embankments on both banks. From 22:30 a light projection onto the Parliament building and the Chain Bridge continues into the night. Central quays close to traffic and fill early, so viewpoints are worth claiming well before nine.
