About this event
Hungary's best-known Bavarian beer festival returns to Margaret Island for two weekends, and for the first time it sets up a full-size Oktoberfest tent: long benches, live Bavarian bands and the Munich Wiesn atmosphere, rain or shine. Original Munich Oktoberfest beers are poured alongside German food, dancing and dirndl-and-lederhosen crowds. Entry to the grounds costs nothing; food and beer are bought on the spot.
