About this event
Budapest Music Center launches kurtag.hu, a bilingual archive of György Kurtág's life and work built with Bard College and the Paul Sacher Foundation — scores, writings, previously unseen family history and photographs. Musicologist Gergely Fazekas presents it, historian Béla Mihalik speaks on the family, and pianists Gábor Csalog and András Kemenes plus cimbalom player András Szalai perform.
Why we picked it
A free evening with three serious performers and a genuine scholarly first — the Kurtág archive opens to the public the same day.
