About this event
For its sixth edition, Józsefváros closes Népszínház utca for two days of South Asian and African food, music and dance — Nepali handicrafts, Indian and African kitchens, folk ensembles and stage performances alongside Hungarian dance groups. It is the most convincing multicultural street festival in Budapest and a corrective to the idea that the eighth district is only worth passing through.
